Starpoint Software Application System Requirements
System Compatibility Guarantee:
Starpoint Software
applications are guaranteed to be compatible with Windows operating systems
as specified below when properly installed with all required libraries, and
when running with proper permission settings. Overly restrictive
permission settings can cause some software to fail or render some features
unavailable. In the event of a software being incompatible with an
operating system specified below as being compatible, Starpoint Software
will repair the incompatibility within 30 days, or if unable to do, the
customer is entitled to return the software for a full refund of the
purchase price. In no event will Starpoint Software be liable for more
than the purchase price of the software.
Supported
Older versions may not be able to import some obsolete database
formats.
*Spectraforms requires Microsoft Windows XP
Tablet PC edition (which does not have to be running on a Tablet PC) to
support handwriting recognition. Handwriting Ink can be displayed on
Windows 2000 and later computer with Microsoft's free Ink libraries
installed, however it can not be displayed on Windows 98/ME.
Compliance Navigator Web Server and C&A DocWriter Web Server requires Windows 2000 Server or later and
Microsoft Internet Information Server 5.0 or later.
Windows 95, 98, and ME are no longer supported.
Hardware Requirements
Compliance Navigator/C&A DocWriter
For Compliance Navigator desktop, a minimum 1 GHz processor
and 128 MB RAM is recommended. For Compliance Navigator server, a
minimum 1.5 GHz processor is recommended and at least 512 MB RAM.
ChemStat, ChemPoint, and ChemPoint Professional
ChemPoint performance is very much dependent on the size of the
database. Minimum system requirements are 500 MHz processor, and 64 MB
RAM. For moderate to large size databases, a minimum of 1 GHz
processor, and 128 MB RAM is recommended.
All Other Programs
Other programs should provide satisfactory performance with a minimum of
500 MHz processor speed and 64 MB RAM, although they will work
satisfactorily with slower systems.
