The C&A DocWriter web module is not some cumbersome “webified” version of the desktop client, but a completely separate application. No client-side ActiveX controls are required. System Requirements

The C&A DocWriter web module runs on Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Microsoft Windows 2003 server. The web module is a Microsoft ASP.NET application. C-Sharp source code license is available for customization.
